The short version
You can use everything on this site without an account and without giving us anything. If you choose to subscribe, we store your email address and use it to send you the newsletter. We don't sell your data. That's the whole model.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you type it into a signup form yourself.
- Quiz answers and chosen path — if you subscribe from the quiz or a path page, we save which path fit you so we can send content that matches your level and interests.
We don't require accounts and we don't collect payment information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and videos people find useful — counts of visits, pages viewed, and roughly where visitors come from. It sets Google's _ga cookies in your browser. We use this only to make the menu better: no ads, no selling data, no building profiles. Google processes this data under Google's privacy policy; Google Analytics does not log your full IP address. If you'd rather not be counted, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or any standard content blocker works fine here — the whole site functions with it blocked.
How we use it
To send you the newsletter you asked for, matched to your level where possible. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. To be removed from our list at any time, use that link or email us and we'll delete you promptly.
Embedded videos and outbound links
Videos play through YouTube's embedded player. When you play one, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy — we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode to minimize this. Links to articles and tools take you to third-party sites with their own privacy practices.
Where your data lives
Subscriber emails are stored on our web host's servers, protected from public access. We share them with no one, except any email-sending service we may use to deliver the newsletter.
Kids
The site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If our practices change (for example, if we add an email provider or analytics), we'll update this page and the date above.
